Ellie and Emma will do anything for their @Pet Honesty salmon oil, especially when they “think” they are out! Trying to fish for their own supply is definitely not ideal, so we find comfort in knowing this oil is convenient, tasty, and ready to provide a healthy coat, relief for dry skin, and reduce shedding. #pethonestypartner #goldenretrieverlife #smile #bffs

A month ago, we received this message (below) and knew we had to meet Mark. He was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer but finds comfort every day from videos of Ellie and Emma. So we secretly worked with his wife, Jess, to plan a surprise lunch in London. This was the first time he had eaten at a restaurant since 2019, and it was such a memorable experience. We loved his unique outlook on life to keep stress low, enjoy each day, and keep a positive mindset. Message from Jess (Mark's wife): Hi Kevin, Katie, Ellie and Emma! I'm writing from England to express my enormous gratitude and appreciation for the work you do. Your "Mission to Spread Smiles" has provided light and laughter (and a lot of smiles) to my husband and I during a very dark time in our life. My husband, Mark, was diagnosed with an aggressive and incurable cancer during the pandemic. In the last 18 months he has been treated with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant and now immunotherapy. As an ex-military man (he was in the Royal Air Force for 17 years) he has approached his diagnosis and treatment with great strength, determination, humility and a sense of humour. He has never complained or grumbled or wallowed in self pity. His shocking cancer diagnosis came six years after he survived a huge head-on collision, when driving to work one morning. So, he is a man who has experienced two major life-changing events, yet still smiles and laughs every single day!! During his last stay in hospital, earlier this year, I came across your You Tube channel and the work that you have been doing with Ellie and Emma. I started sending Mark videos to watch in hospital. It became a daily highlight - a distraction from the awfulness of his treatment and a little bit of joy to look forward to each morning. Both Mark and I share a love of dogs, in particular, Golden Retrievers. We have talked, for many years about having a Golden one day (we call her "our one-day-Daisy-dog") - the idea of Daisy, our future dog offers Mark a beacon of hope to hold on to during the dark times. Kevin, Katie, your beautiful dogs and the wonderful work you do have been instrumental in helping Mark (and me) to navigate our way through the last few difficult months and I wanted to reach out and personally thank you for the gift that you have given us, and that you continue give to millions of others. Words can't really convey just how much comfort Ellie and Emma have given us - we talk about them, laugh at their goofiness and promise ourselves that we will never stop smiling, no matter how hard things get. I appreciate that your life is very full and busy and you won't have time to respond to my message, but I felt compelled to reach out to you to express my heartfelt gratitude and to encourage you to keeping changing lives through your incredible mission. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. With love and respect for all that you do , Jess #goldenretrieverlife #dog #smile #london
